I found out that my taste has not changed and neither had hers. While we both like many pieces in the collections we never agreed on the same thing. Mom would select an item such as the weekend diamond spliced top in turquoise with a floral pattern and I would go with a bold print similar to the Alfred Dunner top I have on.
Yes, I have seen the posts that say Alfred Dunner is for old women and I laugh as I recall wearing Alfred Dunner many decades ago.
A while back we heard that floral tops were for older ladies - but look at designers now - they are gearing florals towards the younger population.
Florals are often found in collections like Bishop & Young, Free People, and Anthropologie to name a few.
My advice to all women is to wear whatever it is that makes you happy!
